KYC is so abused that people hate doing it. Nobody wants to do it really and we too hate it because it has significantly low completion rate which is limiting our potential. But it is a mandate by RBI, so we are working on improving those number by eliminating the documents upload altogether, building up Instant KYC, and gamifying the experience.
A leaky funnel at the very top means you are loosing out on potential customers. It's non sustainable and makes your CAC really high. Thus, as one of the primary objective I am currently working on improving the journey so that more users flows in and we get more opportunity. We have already taken the first step and were successfully able to go up from 26% to 50% with an 48% reduction marketing cost š¤
As your team grows, product grows and it reaches a certain maturity. A design system is needed to tie things up together, to keep things consistent, manage better, and iterate faster. For the very same reason we at LazyPay are working on our visual language and design guidelines.
This is one of my personal project where I am trying to solve a problem that we face regularly and we all take some creative measures to componsate for it. Hope that it manifest into something meaningful.
